Where to find University Jobs
One of the best places to look for jobs in universities, research organisations, FE colleges and charities is jobs.ac.uk. Most of the interviews I had from 2017-2019 were through that site.
It allows you to do a quick search for jobs by keywords and location. If you wish, you can go straight to the Professional / managerial / Support Services category and look for jobs in specific areas such as Administrative, Library Services, IT, Student Services and many more. A teacher with some management experience will satisfy many of the ‘essential experience’ criteria in the Person Specifications. It also allows you to set up email alerts for specific job searches.
Job boards for UK Universities
Universities don’t put all their jobs on https://www.jobs.ac.uk/, however, you will find a full list of vacancies on their job boards. Here are all UK universities with links to their job vacancies (links correct as of January 2023). Click on the relevant Country/Region links to avoid scrolling:
